Inner city violence caused by guns? No,Bob,inner city violence (in particular black on black)is not caused by guns. Why don't we take a look at the root problem of a lot of problems we have today.Break down of the family?
The cities with the highest crime rate are generally the ones with the strictest gun control laws. FACT.
Let's now discuss why we have a second amendment and it's not for the right to go hunting.
Levin rightly pointed out that it's the government trying to find an excuse to disarm its own citizens. We know how that works out.
BTW. This may be ironic but i don't own a gun. Never have. Have always had a dog that will rip anyone apart if they'd think about breaking in or attacking. I do not like guns. Period. However, i totally support the 2nd amendment. It was put there for a reason and that reason is just as valid today as then. If i felt endangered and had to purchase a gun-yes,would.If i had to use it in self defense-wouldn't hesitate.
